L ast Saturday & Sunday saw the first FRANCHISE COSTA BLANCA EXHIBITION held at the Melia Hotel in Benidorm. Despite the awfully wet weather, visitors to the Exhibition found out all there is to know about franchising, and how to run a successful business. Exhibiting at the Show were High Street favourites like Ale-Hop, Legs & Co., Subway, IronArt, Ponteguapa Vending, Easybuy, Pocket Pages, UltraIT, Bay Radio, OPI, Dynadrain and Pool School, and the two days proved a useful opportunity for people interested in running a franchise to meet with the businesses face to face in an informal setting and really get a feel for the franchise. Franchising of course, is growing very rapidly as a safe and proven way to develop a successful venture, and it offers ready-made solutions to many of the uncertainties faced by start up businesses.
Simply put, Franchising gives people a better chance of success when they start up a business. Research has shown that of all businesses starting today, only 20% will still be trading in 5 years time. With Franchising these figures are reversed i.e 80% of Franchise businesses will still be trading in 5 years time. Because of course if you buy a Franchise you are buying into a business that is already operating. The Franchisor will have made mistakes along the way and will have learnt from them and this knowledge is passed on as part of the franchise system. Also at the show were Moneycorp, Vives Pons Asesores, and 121 Business Coach who gave workshops, shared their considerable business expertise, and demonstrated the kind of invaluable support that they can offer to all business owners.
The next FRANCHISE COSTA BLANCA Exhibition is scheduled for February of 2009. But if you wish to explore more about the world of Franchising, or couldn’t make it to the Exhibition on Saturday or Sunday, then you can visit Franchise Costa Blanca’s website at www.franchisecostablanca.com or you can email Elena Theanne, Franchise Manager for RTA Europe on her email
