HELP’s Christmas Market Raises a Whopping 6000€

The HELP Association of Vega Baja held their annual Christmas Market at the New Asturias Restaurant in Punta Prima last Saturday, 21st November and a new record was set on the amount raised in the four hours that it was open.

A whopping 6,107€ was raised and the association would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported the event. The money will enable HELP to continue supporting the community of the Vega Baja.

The success of this and other events run by HELP Vega Baja is also down to the efforts of a dedicated volunteer team who had been working over the last few months organising the event, sorting, preparing and storing items for sale as well as baking, knitting and sewing.

HELP Vega Baja is also indebted to Carlos for allowing the use of the New Asturias Restaurant, and to his staff who assisted during the course of the day.
