ESTABLISHED AND professional estate agent HomeEspaña is determined to get a roof over the heads of clients looking to buy property in the Marina Alta.
The founders of the Company, Kieran and Noel Byrne, are two brothers with a banking and accounting background.

A major player in the south and Valencia, the company has just unveiled an office in Moraira to service the area and bring buyers and sellers together.
Having successfully traded in Spain for 10 years, HomeEspaña has the expertise to market property and achieve sales.
General Manager Sara Bonner said the Company put a salesman on the ground in the Marina Alta for around a year before deciding to open an office, and were busy building a portfolio of properties.
“We are a major player in the south and have a huge portfolio of around 1,500 direct properties.

REPUTATION
“We are obviously trying to build our reputation here, but because we are well known in other parts of Spain we are not a fresh face without background.
“We are not opening new premises on a whim; we have been in the area and have done our research.”
Sara added: “We really do have qualified clients and are steadily building up our portfolio. We have a vast selection of clients booked in our diary with varied budgets from different nationalities in the coming weeks. We have a French and Spanish languages department in Valencia that also book clients for this area”
The key to HomeEspaña’s success is marketing and client care. Sara said “the strategy worked as the company is still selling about 20 properties a month in difficult times”.
Its busy website receives 60,000 individual hits a month and HomeEspaña work with a network of 200 agents across the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia and other European countries.

PORTFOLIO
We work closely with estate agents in Spain looking to use its portfolio for potential buyers with specific wish lists.
“We are actively looking to take on as many properties as we can, because we genuinely do have the clients. HomeEspaña is a trustworthy company with experienced teams based in each office – the Moraira team having individually worked for the company for a number of years. All our team members have a background in Spanish or English estate agency.”
Sara said the company’s unrivalled after sales service was also a priority – liaising between buyer and seller; obtaining NIE numbers; helping with the opening of bank accounts; working with solicitors and generally guiding clients through to a successful purchase and sale.

RECOMMENDATION
“Client care is our priority – many of our clients recommend us to family and friends to buy through us because of this.
“And that is very important because Spain is a foreign country to many of our clients and they need people here working on the ground to help them through such an important purchase.”
To ensure clients are fully protected, HomeEspaña have teamed up with Poveda Hayes solicitors based in Valencia City, with local offices in Javea.
One of the partners, Martin Hayes LL.B LL.M, is also the honorary consul for the United Kingdom.
